A Career of Service and Expertise

Chris joined the U.S. Army at the young age of 17, entering with his mother’s signature and a dedication to serve. He completed six years in the military, which included combat duty in Iraq. After returning, Chris pursued higher education at Louisiana Tech University through the G.I. Bill, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering. His career took a new direction when he was recruited by the FBI, and in 2003, Chris joined the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia. Upon graduating, he was honored by his peers with the Leadership Award, setting the tone for a remarkable 19-year tenure as a Special Agent.

During his time with the FBI, Chris served on multiple SWAT teams in Little Rock, San Antonio, and New Orleans, and was certified in firearms instruction, tactical training, and active shooter response. His extensive field experience in violent crimes, human trafficking, and undercover operations prepared him to lead the North Louisiana Crimes Against Children task force, where he and his team recovered over 50 minors and apprehended numerous perpetrators.

An Educator at Heart

Beyond field operations, Chris has a passion for sharing his knowledge with others. He was frequently called upon to train local law enforcement, district attorney offices, schools, and the public on critical safety and investigative topics. Unlike many trainers, Chris brings firsthand experience to his classes. His expertise includes:

• Active Shooter and Internet Safety Presentations

• Human Trafficking and Juvenile Recovery

• Drug Enforcement and Tactical Operations

• Firearms and Concealed Carry Training

• Close Quarter Combat (CQB) and Tactical Training for SWAT Teams

Whether working directly with local SWAT teams or educating the public on personal safety, Chris’s instruction reflects his deep knowledge and practical experience.

A Commitment to Integrity and Community

In addition to his professional pursuits, Chris is committed to serving his community in Minden, Louisiana. In 2020, he founded Webster Parish Men of Courage, a ministry that includes Christ Fit Gym, a free wheelchair ramp ministry, and a free Bible ministry. These efforts embody his dedication to making a positive impact, both on and off duty.
